Often users of DAM and other like applications start their technology selection process the wrong way around, focussing on the features, benefits and costs of various options rather than starting with an analysis of their needs.

There are hundreds of DAM technologies on the world market. The list jumps into the thousands if you include specialist applications for architecture, photography, media, video production and music entertainment that have DAM at their core.

We have developed our own methodology for analysing a client’s needs and documenting them so that the technology search can be conducted based on defined requirements.

This process enables the client to eliminate most of the technologies that won’t meet their needs and thus greatly expedite the selection process.

The documentation also forms the basis of how implementation phases will be conducted, having identified risks and change management threats and opportunities.
